Las Vegas offers so many options for dining – where do you go?
We always find it fun to really enjoy the complete experience when time allows.
This means taking full advantage and stepping out for a wine pairing option… it is really over the top!
We can recommend the monthly pairing events at Giada’s place at THE CROMWELL on the Strip.
If you are interested in learning more, please check out: www.thecromwell.com/giada
Seek out this little place, tucked back in a corner of a typical shopping plaza — you will be surprised and thrilled!
Fresh and authentic!
When you head to Vegas, you think of buffets and LARGE meals at a Casino.
Well, trust us… there is SO much more offered at the local level, you may find a new hang out or two!!
Yuzi Japanese Kitchen is one of those places… if you are looking for something wonderfully Japanese and delicious, PUT THIS ON YOUR LIST!
Amy & John: We can’t thank you enough for sharing your home with us. I have stayed at many, many amazing houses but yours is by far the best. Your home is so relaxing and comfortable. It is truly an escape from reality and “the Strip.” Your attention to details when designing your house is incredible. OMG to your oasis in the backyard. Thanks again and hope to see you soon.
http://sixthworkshop.com/wp-content/themes/alma/less/static-captions.css?ver=4.8.2 The first guest book is full. There are pages and pages of messages like this that just bring tears to my eyes! How lucky we are to share our home with so many and how grateful we are to have so many love our special place on this Earth. We also look forward to having each one of you return !
Winter is upon us.
The rainy, the chilly windstorms, the snow and the warm fireplaces.
The thrill of the change in the weather is nice, but for me it lasts for about a week, maybe two!
And then I start dreaming of the hot sun, a lounge chair in the pool and a cool, tropical drink! What about you?
Start thinking about your summer!
You can relax at our place – head to work out and enjoy the pool at Lifetime FItness (guest pass is only $30 and the place is amazing).
Take a break from the heat and head over to stroll amongst the flowers at the Bellagio. Stop at the cafe for a lovely meal and enjoy the cool area and interesting people!
We have some time left in August and September — but it will book up fast! We would love to help you plan some time in the hot sun!
Normally this is followed by a face. You know the face. Ugh.
Sure family vacation can be great — but that takes work. And really, it is not all that often …
So, where do you go that is guaranteed fun for all?
http://workinitfitness.com/contact/ Why you cannot crash and burn when you stay at our place!
The house will make you feel warm and loved. The kitchen will help you produce amazing meals.
The pool and spa will take the kids to a happy place and I promise, a dip in the spa (summer or winter) with a glass of wine and some good music will leave you quite happy too.
And then you read a few things on our blog (take a moment and check out Giada’s new place for a home cooked meal)
And you are well on your way to designing a trip for everyone. You will find things for the “older crowd” (google search Rose.Rabbit.Lie. at Caesars) as well as great kid places. Even those that are a bit on the wild side can try flying with the Combat Aces – like driving a Ferrari in the sky!
After a lovely family vacation exploring all Vegas has to offer and all the while having a beautiful villa to return to — everyone will be in shock at what a great family vacation they had and beg you to start planning the next one!!!
Let’s do it!
Heading to Vegas? Do a little research and you’ll soon discover, there are a lot of shows to see!
Which ones do you pick!???
We have some ideas!
(1) Family Adventure – GO to the BLUE MAN GROUP at the Monte Carlo!
(2) Traveling with mom?
GO to “Donny & Marie” at the Flamingo
(3) Love BROADWAY?
HEAD off to the “Million Dollar Quartet” at Harrah’s Showroom
(4) Have to see a VEGAS SHOW?
TRY Frank Marino’s “Divas Las Vegas” at the Quad.
(5) Have a weakness for reality shows?
Buy tickets to “Terry Fator” at the Mirage
(6) In town with THE BOYS?
You’ll want to take that group of crazies to “Fantasy” at the Luxor
(7) Love the Cirque Shows?
We recommenf “O” or “Le Reve”
(8) Enjoy the music of the Beatles?
“LOVE” is a wonderful show as well!
Hitting the shows that appeal to you and your companions is the best way to enjoy all Vegas has to offer!
We hope this list is a good starting place for you as you plan!
Andrew and I had a blast working on this together.
I am sure that he has a blast with everyone he works with … and the things he must discover along the way.
I will not travel to a new place without going through his guides and his site to make sure that I have gathered all the best information – because he gets the local info and it is always good!!
We are honored to have an amazing guide (and more to follow) from Andrew and his team of amazing people.
Follow it and you are guaranteed to learn something and want to hop on a plane!
There are many reasons to look for a home to stay in rather than a hotel room. There is always more space.
The kitchen is wonderful to use. The extra rooms and bed make it great for others to stay with you. The pool! Your own private pool! The peace and quiet of coming in and out of a house rather than a lobby, going up the elevator, etc.
But it seems there is another reason – and it is getting to be a big problem in Vegas. The Fees.
The travel fees, booking fees, taxes – it goes on and on and on.
We work hard to limit our fees. We only pass on the cost of the cleaning. Other than that – what you see is what you get! Please most of the time, the kitchen is pretty well stocked and amazing meals are ready for you to make (or contact Chef Lisa, http://www.thechefandyou.com/, and have her come over and set you up with some great food!).
You can use the money you saved in taxes, fees and the like and enjoy a great dinner on the verandah!
If you want to read money about the high costs: http://www.reviewjournal.com/business/tourism/what-happens-vegas-may-come-extra-fee.
We think it’ll make you look twice and staying with us!
Too Hot? Too Cold? Kids driving you crazy? Bored with the Casinos?
Dreaming of shopping or a quiet lunch but have a house full of kids?
We have the spot for you! Towne Square is one of our absolutely favorite places to hang out, but the kids are not always up for the trip.
The answer has arrived! Game Works … not a old run down one… but a new, clean, 8,700 SF building with awesome games! The kids will run out the door when you offer the trip and then the day is yours! Join them for some games or bowling, shop, eat, or relax with a cold drink!
We are thrilled to have such a great place so close!
Check it out!
Summer nights in Vegas … they are amazing!
The sky is lit up — the air is warm and inviting and there is SO much to do! You know one of my favorite places (the spa and pool with the firepit on!) but if I cannot have that …. I love heading out to Towne Square for a latte at Brio (and maybe some tiramisu) and then cuddling up for an outdoor movie!
Ahhh! Did I give you an idea? Mark your calendars:

- 10th – Tarzan
